Payment Reports
Payment reports break down transactions by payment method, status, and time period. Use them to reconcile cash, verify card deposits, and track failed payments.
Generating a Payment Report
- Go to Reports → PaymentsNavigate to the Payment Reports section.
- Set Date RangeChoose the period to analyze.
- Filter by Method (Optional)View all methods or filter to just Card, Cash, or Check.
- View ResultsSee totals per method, successful vs. failed, and individual transactions.
Report Sections
| Section | What It Shows |
|---|---|
| Summary | Total payments, count, average transaction |
| By method | Card, cash, check totals with percentages |
| Failed payments | Declined cards, insufficient funds, errors |
| Transaction list | Every individual payment with details |
Review failed payments weekly. Clients with failed card payments may have outstanding balances. Follow up to collect payment.
