Activity Logs
The activity log records every significant action in the system — who did what, when, and to whom. It's your audit trail for security, compliance, and troubleshooting.
Viewing Activity Logs
- Go to Settings → Activity LogNavigate to the Activity Log section (manager/admin only).
- Browse or FilterThe log shows recent activities in reverse chronological order. Use filters to narrow down.
What Gets Logged
| Category | Examples |
|---|---|
| Client changes | Created, edited, deleted, restored client records |
| Payments | Processed, refunded, voided payments |
| Bookings | Created, modified, cancelled appointments |
| Staff changes | Added, deactivated, role changed |
| System | Login/logout, settings changes, exports |
Filtering the Log
- By staff member — See all actions by a specific person
- By action type — See only payments, only edits, etc.
- By date range — Narrow to a specific time period
- By client — See all actions related to a specific client
Logs cannot be edited or deleted. This ensures the integrity of the audit trail. Even admins cannot modify log entries.
