Billing Statements
Billing statements provide a summary of a client's charges, payments, and balance for a date range. You can print them, email them, or save them as PDF.
Generating a Statement
- Open the Client's Billing TabNavigate to the client's profile and click Billing.
- Click StatementClick the Statement button in the billing toolbar.
- Set the Date RangeSelect start and end dates. The statement will include all transactions in this range.
- Preview and SendPreview the statement, then choose to Print, Email to Client, or Download PDF.
What's on the Statement
- Business name and contact info (header)
- Client name and account number
- Date range covered
- Starting balance
- Itemized charges and payments with dates
- Ending balance
Tip: If a client disputes a charge, pulling up their statement is the fastest way to review the history together.
