Your staff profile controls how your name appears in the system, your notification preferences, and your default location. Setting this up correctly ensures a smooth experience.

Accessing Your Profile

  1. Click Your Avatar
In the top-right corner of the portal, click on your avatar or initials circle. A dropdown menu appears.
  2. Select My Profile
Click "My Profile" to open your profile settings page.

Basic Information

On the profile page, you can update:

  • Display Name — The name shown throughout the system (e.g., on bookings, tasks, activity logs)
  • Email Address — Your login email (changing this requires manager approval)
  • Phone Number — Optional, used for internal communication
  • Profile Photo — Upload a photo that appears on your avatar across the system
  1. Update Your Display Name
Enter your preferred name. This is what clients and team members will see. Use your real name — nicknames are fine as long as they're professional.
  2. Upload a Profile Photo
Click the avatar area and select an image file. Square images work best. The system accepts JPG, PNG, and WebP formats up to 5 MB.
  3. Save Changes
Click Save Profile to apply your updates. Changes take effect immediately across the system.

Notification Preferences

Control which notifications you receive and how:

Notification TypeDefaultDescription
Client check-insOnAlert when a client checks in at your location
Task assignmentsOnAlert when a task is assigned to you
Booking changesOnAlert when a booking you created is modified
Payment alertsOffAlert for failed or flagged payments
System updatesOnPlatform updates and maintenance notices

Tip: Front desk staff should keep check-in notifications enabled. Managers may want to enable payment alerts for oversight.

Default Location

If your business has multiple locations, set your default working location here. This determines which location's data you see when you first log in. You can always switch locations from the top bar.

Important: Your default location affects what data you see. If you're seeing the wrong clients or bookings, check that your location is set correctly.

Troubleshooting

Profile photo won't upload

Ensure the image is under 5 MB and is a JPG, PNG, or WebP file. Try resizing or converting the image.

Can't change email address

Email changes require manager approval for security. Ask your manager to update it through the staff management panel.
