After logging in, you'll land on the Staff Portal — your home base for everything. This lesson walks you through every area of the interface so you can navigate confidently.

Main Areas of the Portal

The portal is divided into several key areas:

  1. Sidebar Navigation (Left)
The sidebar is your main menu. It lists all available modules — client database, billing, booking, POS, and more. Click any item to open that section. On mobile, tap the hamburger menu () to reveal it.
  2. Top Bar
The top bar shows your current location, a search bar for quick lookups, notification bell, and your profile menu. The location dropdown lets you switch between business locations.
  3. Dashboard Area (Center)
The main content area shows the page you've navigated to. When you first log in, this shows the dashboard with today's key stats, recent activity, and quick action buttons.
  4. Quick Action Buttons
Common tasks like New Client, New Booking, and Quick Charge are available as buttons on the dashboard for one-click access.

The sidebar groups features into logical sections. Here's what you'll find:

Dashboard Widgets

  • Checked In — Clients who have checked in and are currently on-site
  • Revenue Today — Total payments collected today
  • Pending Tasks — Open tasks assigned to you or your team
  • Recent Activity — Feed showing recent actions (check-ins, payments, new clients)

Keyboard shortcut: Press / anywhere in the portal to jump to the search bar for quick navigation.

Notification Center

The bell icon () in the top bar shows unread notifications. Click it to see:

  • New client check-ins
  • Task assignments and reminders
  • System alerts (low inventory, payment failures)
  • Messages from team members

A red badge on the bell indicates unread notifications.
